OUR VISION - Changing Lives

The vision of New Hope Victory Church is to raise up and maintain an exciting
and active church, working under and through the direction of the Holy Spirit,
to see the release of God’s Power in the areas of Signs, Wonders and
Miracles. To create firm and strong foundations, ensuring a long and healthy
future for the church, that will stand the test of time.
That the church will always strive to give and be the very best we can, not
accepting second best or being mediocre.

The church wants to actively engage with the people of Stoke on Trent in both a
Spiritual and Practical way. We desire to help change the atmosphere and reputation
of the area from such comments as “ Nothing good can come out of Stoke” or
“Stoke is dead”, restoring to the community a hope, that has been lost. An
understanding that a better life and a brighter can be found with JESUS.
Demonstrate that even in today’s modern society the name of JESUS still
changes lives and circumstance in a tangible and visible way.

It is our belief that that the people of Stoke on Trent have a proud heritage, and have
much to offer, if given the opportunity. They need to know that someone loves them
and believes in them - JESUS does - we do.

The following is a basic outline of the Goals and Objectives of New Hope
Victory Church.

    A. To use the Christian principles of the bible to :-
help people rediscover hope for a better and more promising future
for themselves and their families, at a time which is bleak and for some every
day seems a struggle to manage and survive

    B.  To build up peoples self worth and belief in themselves, when the world is
telling them that they are worthless and useless

    C.  Many people are feeling lonely, unloved and unwanted, we aim to bring them
into a community that will love them and support whoever they are, regardless
of their circumstances and social standing, and that GOD loves them
regardless of their past or present failings.

    D.  That our life does not end when we die, but we can look forward to eternity
in heaven if we accept JESUS as our Lord and Saviour

     E.  To help change the spiritual climate over Stoke on Trent, and regain what it
had in the days of Charles Wesley
